This long-standing and loyal client has used the services of Barbara Genda for five years. This latest project required extensive joinery including their son’s wardrobes, bookcases and bedroom furniture as well as their daughter’s dressing room. In the main living space, a dedicated bar room was added to the living room featuring storage and contemporary black glass and in the living room itself, additional storage was added in a walnut finish. Hallway wardrobes were added to store coats and other items and additional study furniture was required as well as storage for the master dressing room.

Walnut is the star of the show

Living room & Bar

This dedicated room features a curved bar with a striking black glass top, storage cabinets with display alcoves as well as contemporary black glass and mirror wall shelving. A water, wine and drinks fridge formed part of the furniture. The walnut and gloss back scheme continued in the adjoining living room for a low level TV unit.

Master dressing room

The client’s favourite walnut timber was used throughout for a large dressing room leading from the main bedroom, fully fitted with handy hanging, shelves and a shoe cabinet. A striking, upholstered central island seat makes an elegant focal point in the room, as well as a large dressing table and mirror.

Bedrooms

For two teenage children’s bedrooms, an eaves wardrobe with a sliding mirrored entrance door leads into the bathroom and a corner shelving unit wraps around the bathroom behind. The daughter’s walk-in closet features cream coloured back walls and a dark finish with oak veneer for the additional storage.

Study

A rich Macassar Ebony veneer desk and filing drawers and cupboards were built into the large window niche in the home study, complete with floating shelves.

Your installers were very professional and thorough. I am very pleased with how the cupboards look and operate.
